Minimalistic Music-Fest Maven

It's the most wonderful time of the year, yes that right.... Music Festival season! Live music and flawless fashion.... *sighhh* that, my friends is what I call Utopia.  With that being said-- I'm a little salty every time I miss Coachella. If you were like me yesterday,  you were enviously scrolling through your feed taking it all in from your home :( -- We'll call it Couchella.

I've been on this whole minimalistic kick lately, so when I saw Kylie Jenner slay that godly all white look yesterday, Day 1 of Coachella -- I knew she would inspire my post for today.

Don't be afraid to push the envelope this summer- it's okay to show that tummy. Just pick a silhouette that flatters your body type. Life is too short to hide those curves!

I love fashion,  but not just any fashion. Drab-boring-blah-mundane-simple-girl clothing makes me gag...seriously!

I LIVE for the type of fashion that causes your heart to skip a beat when you see it. You know then and there that it has stolen a little piece of your heart and deserves a very special spot in your closet. The kind of clothes that tell a story, walking art made for a woman with curves...(the best canvas if you ask me)... this is not for the faint at heart. Ashley Stewart and Lane Bryant just don't get me.... I guess you could say I'm a Katie Girl.

But here's the thing, as a plus size woman these life changing pieces are few and far between. I know this because I've spent the last decade dismantling and revamping most of my wardrobe to fit my aesthetic. As I flipped the bird to all the mainstream stores (ok maybe I'm a Kanye Girl too) who failed us miserably, I realized my mission.

As a Kanye-Katie-Girl I'm here to bridge the gap for other curvy women like myself who are never satisfied with the status quo.
